Manuscript Withdrawal
Withdrawing submitted or published manuscripts is not recommended. If the author intends to retract the manuscript, the following rules must be followed:

Manuscripts may only be withdrawn for acceptable reasons. It must not be withdrawn due to being already published in another journal.

The author must make a letter requesting withdrawal of the manuscript to the chief editor, along with the reasons for withdrawal. All authors must be aware of and agree to the withdrawal request by signing the letter. See the example provided.

If the manuscript being withdrawn is in the process of being reviewed, the authors must pay a fee of IDR 150,000.

If the manuscript has been published, the authors must pay a fee of IDR 250,000, excluding the APC (Article Processing Charge) and Additionally, the authors will be blacklisted from submitting to SJME Kinematika for a period of two years.

Accepted manuscripts cannot be withdrawn for any reason, except in special circumstances such as significant errors or ethical violations. In such cases, the authors must provide a detailed explanation and supporting evidence for the request.

If the review process of the manuscript exceeds 8 months, the authors can withdraw the manuscript without charge.
