REVIEW FLUIDA KERJA PADA SISTEM ORGANIC RANKINE CYCLE (ORC)
Abstract
In this study, the authors reviewed the use of the ORC working fluid which was simulated using EES and reviewed several previous journals. The working fluids analyzed are isopentane as the working fluid used, isobutane and R245fa, where isobutane produces a higher power output compared to other secondary fluids because the enthalpy of steam entering the turbine and the enthalpy of steam entering the condenser produced is higher and this causes The heat that enters the ORC system is higher than that of other working fluids. In the ORC system, there are many choices of working fluids and can be applied to the system both actually and still in research, both in off design in the form of papers, journals and direct technology applications in geothermal power plants, waste heat recovery plants or other types of combine cycles. In several systems studied, R227ea has better thermal efficiency than other secondary fluids. While in the waste heat power plant, R134a has a better efficiency than the secondary fluid studied. And in other research, HFE-301 has a thermal efficiency of 85% in Radial inflow turbine applications with a speed of about 60,000 rpm and produces a power of 1.5 kW.
