January 14th, 2023 SJME has edited copyright policy (from Vol. 8 No. 1 th 2023), author's guideline and template 2020 (minor).  
January 21th, 2023 SJME Has changed the license of the Journal from CC BY NC ND Creative Commons License to CC BY NC SA Creative Commons License and will be effective from vol. 8 no. 1 (2023) and so on. 
July 15th, 2023 Based on the Dean's Decree No. 78/UN8.1.31/PI/2023 regarding Journal Management at the Faculty of Engineering, Lambung Mangkurat University, the Editor in Chief of SJME Kinematics as of Vol 8 No 2 December 2023 and so on is Pathur Razi Ansyah, S.T., M.Eng. We thank Dr. Abdul Ghofur, S.T., M.T. who has led SJME Kinematics in the previous period.
September 25th, 2023 SJME Kinematika has been accredited by Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology as SINTA 3 until 2027 based on the latter No. 152/E/KPT/2023 and the Certificate.

January, 2026 To improve the quality of the journal globally, SJME encourages authors to upload in English.
January 20th, 2026 (SJME) Kinematika updated its article template to improve transparency, consistency in formatting, and the overall quality of published manuscripts (2026 Version). This update replaced the previous 2020 (IND, ENG) version and was officially applied starting with Volume 11, Issue 1 (2026). The changes are focused on formatting and presentation standards to support a smoother editorial and peer-review process. 
In addition, this update improves synchronization of journal information across key sections, including the Peer Review Process and Author Guidelines, to provide clearer, more consistent instructions for authors and reviewers.
